Luke and Scarlett have been very excited to see The LEGO Movie, so this week I’m diverting from our normal Disney animation for some bricks.
I’ll also post about our trip to Legoland Florida back in September. It was a fun park for small kids!
While we were visiting Massachusetts, my mom took us to Jordan’s Furniture to visit The Enchanted Village, an exhibit of vintage holiday window displays seen in Boston in the 1960’s and 70’s.
Everything was mechanical and magically moved, bringing the holiday scenes to life. The kids were fascinated.
After the nostalgic trip through Enchanted Village, we went over to Enchanted Ice, an indoor skating rink on artificial ice.
Luke and Scarlett had never been ice skating before, so it was an experience. Tom and my sister, Amanda, were a big help keeping them on their feet!
Scarlett wasn’t a big fan, but Luke lasted the whole session.
This is a great place to visit for the Holidays. Jordan’s Furniture is always so fun! The kids ended up falling asleep during dinner, so I think they had fun, too.
